Single Start double Flight Conical Rock Auger

1. The single start single flight auger has been designed for drilling in soils above groundwater and in rock. Auger diameters match BAUER drill casing. The pitch of the flights has been specifically designed to optimise output characteristics for the high torque BG drilling rigs. For significantly increased tool life, augers with special angled wear protection are available. For larger diameter, augers with double start boring head are recommended. The big hatch behind the cutting edge makes it possible taking up soil to 0.4-times drilling diameter.
2. Uses: They are used for drilling soil, rock layer, claypan and sandy gravel.
3. All drill bits have different sizes, minimum diameter is 600mm, the maximum diameter is 2500mm, Centre pipe thickness: 30mm, Flight thickness: 20/30mm.
